The A World UK - Terms and Conditions

1. General Information:

a. The A World UK is a non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting the autistic community through various events at top UK attractions, as well as providing memberships.

b. The A World UK ("we" or "us") is committed to creating a safe and respectful environment for all participants attending our events.

 

C. By participating in The A World UK events, individuals agree to adhere to a standard of behaviour that promotes a positive and inclusive atmosphere.

 

2. Refunds and Admissions:

a. The A World UK operates a strict no-refund policy.

 

b. To gain access to our events individuals must hold a valid ticket.

c. The sale of tickets/vouchers by anyone other than The A World UK is strictly prohibited.

d. All tickets are non-transferable, not for resale, and will automatically become void upon any transfer for value.

e. Tickets purchased are only valid on the date printed on the ticket and cannot be transferred to future events.

f. Tickets must be retained at all times and may be submitted for inspection if required by The A World UK and/or the associated partners.

g. By purchasing tickets or becoming a member of The A World UK, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.

 

3. Right to Refuse Entry and Remove Individuals from our Events

a. The A World UK reserves the right to refuse admission to any person deemed unsuitable for the events, ban entry, or remove any person from the events without a refund. This includes individuals who:

- Act in an inappropriate or undesirable manner both previously and/or during our events.

- If their presence or behaviour is deemed to affect the enjoyment and/or safety of other guests or staff.

- Enter restricted or prohibited areas, as determined by The A World UK and/or associated partners.

b. The A World UK reserves the right to prohibit the attendance of any individual who has previously displayed abusive behaviours towards our staff members and/or associated partners. Abusive behaviour includes, but is not limited to:

- Verbal harassment or threats

- Physical aggression 

- Intimidation or bullying

- Discrimination or offensive remarks

- Any other conduct that negatively impacts the well-being of our staff members

c. The A World UK may identify individuals with a history of abusive behaviours through:

- Reports from staff members and/or associated partners

- Documentation of incidents

- Any other relevant information

 

d. Individuals who attempt to attend our events despite being prohibited may be subject to legal proceedings.

 

e. The A World UK may initiate legal proceedings or prosecute any person who:

- Damages or defaces any equipment whilst attending our events.

- Displays any threatening, abusive, or insulting signs or visible representations.

- Has been reported for inappropriate behaviour in the past.

- Attempts to regain admission without a valid ticket.

- Purchases tickets or discount vouchers from an unauthorised source.

 

f. If a guest in breach of these terms and conditions is part of a group, the entire group may, at The A World UK's and/or associated partners discretion, be denied entry or escorted from the attraction without any right to a refund.

 

4. Membership and Booking:

a. The A World UK offers memberships allowing access to request a funded holiday and have priority ticket request to our autism-friendly events.

b. Memberships are subject to specific terms and conditions, as outlined separately by The A World UK.

 

5. Event Specifics:

a. All guests are expected to adhere to the specific rules and regulations of each event hosted by The A World UK, as communicated by our team.

b. Please be aware that professional photographers and videographers may be present at our events. If you have specific concerns about being photographed by professionals, kindly inform our event staff, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

 

c. The A World UK retains ownership of all images and videos captured during our events. However, we assure you that they will be used solely for promotional and marketing purposes. Rest assured; your memorable moments are in good hands.

 

d. Your attendance implies your consent for The A World UK to use any images or videos in which you may be captured. If you have any concerns or prefer not to be featured, please notify our event staff at the venue. We respect your privacy and will make every effort to accommodate your preferences.

 

e. We encourage you to share your own experiences on social media during our events! Use our official event hashtags and tag The A World UK to become a part of the vibrant online community. Your posts may even be featured on our official channels – so keep those memories coming!

 

6. Liability:

a. The A World UK and associated partners are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage sustained within the attractions' premises.

 

8. The A World UK Weekly Lottery:

a. About the Lottery

  • The A World UK Weekly Lottery is operated by One Lottery, a licensed lottery provider. The A World UK has no direct involvement in running the lottery, distributing prizes, or handling payments.

  • By participating, you agree to One Lottery’s full terms and conditions, which can be found here 

b. Eligibility

  • The lottery is open to all individuals aged 18 or over.

  • Employees, volunteers, and directors of The A World UK are eligible to participate.

  • It is the responsibility of the player to ensure they meet the age requirement. Proof of age may be requested at any time.

c. How to Play

  • Each ticket costs £1 per entry.

  • Players will be automatically entered into:

    • Weekly Guaranteed Prize Draw – Win non-cash prizes such as holidays, vouchers, and experiences.

    • Weekly Jackpot Draw – Chance to win up to £25,000.

    • Monthly Super Draw – Bigger prizes available.

  • 50p from every ticket sold goes directly to The A World UK, helping to fund autism-friendly events and support autistic individuals and their families.

d. Prizes & Winners

  • All prizes, including cash and non-cash rewards, are provided and distributed by One Lottery. The A World UK has no involvement in selecting winners or distributing prizes.

  • Winners will be notified by One Lottery. It is the player's responsibility to ensure their contact details are correct.

e. Responsible Gambling

  • We encourage all players to gamble responsibly. If you feel you may have a gambling problem, please seek help from BeGambleAware at www.begambleaware.org or call the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133.

  • If you wish to self-exclude from playing, please contact One Lottery directly to be removed from future participation.

f. Payments & Cancellations

  • Payments must be made in full before entry into the draw is confirmed.

  • Entries are non-refundable once submitted.

  • Any issues regarding payments or cancellations must be directed to One Lottery.

g. Data Protection

  • Player information is collected and processed by One Lottery, in accordance with their privacy policy.

h. Complaints & Contact

  • Any complaints, changes to your account, or concerns regarding the lottery must be directed to One Lottery.

  • The A World UK does not have control over lottery operations and cannot resolve complaints regarding payments, winnings, or entries.

9. Give as You Live – Disclaimer & Terms

  • Give as You Live is an independent fundraising platform that allows users to raise money for The A World UK by shopping with participating retailers.

  • The A World UK has no control over transactions, retailer participation, or donation processing.

  • Any issues regarding registration, purchases, missing donations, or account management must be directed to Give as You Live’s customer support here.

  • By using Give as You Live, you are subject to their Terms & Conditions, which can be found here.

10. Merchandise

By purchasing merchandise via The A World UK website and official online store, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

a. Made-To-Order Items
All clothing, accessories and selected merchandise items are made to order specially for each customer. This means products are created once your order has been placed rather than being held in stock.

b. Dispatch & Delivery
As all items are made to order, orders can take a minimum of 7 working days before being dispatched, particularly during busy periods, launches or seasonal events.

Delivery times provided are estimates only and may vary depending on production times and courier services.

c. Sizing & Product Selection
Please ensure you carefully check:

  • Sizes

  • Colours

  • Product options

  • Delivery information

before placing your order.

Customers are responsible for selecting the correct size and product variations at checkout.

d. Refunds, Returns & Exchanges
Due to the bespoke made-to-order nature of our merchandise, refunds, returns or exchanges are not normally accepted for:

  • Incorrect sizing chosen by the customer

  • Change of mind

  • Colour selection

  • Accidental orders

However, if your item arrives:

  • Faulty

  • Damaged

  • Incorrect

please contact the fulfilment provider directly using the details provided within your order confirmation or dispatch email.

e. Third-Party Fulfilment
Selected merchandise items available through our official online clothing store are produced and fulfilled by a trusted third-party production and fulfilment partner, Yazzoo.

This allows us to offer a wider range of made-to-order clothing and accessories for our community without holding large amounts of stock.

For order-specific issues relating to:

  • Dispatch

  • Delivery

  • Tracking

  • Damaged items

  • Production errors

customers may be asked to contact the fulfilment provider directly.

The A World UK is not responsible for delays caused by third-party production, courier services or circumstances outside of our control.

f. Product Images
Whilst we aim to ensure all product images and mock-ups accurately represent the final item, colours and print placement may vary slightly depending on screen settings, garment sizes and production methods.

11. Changes to Terms and Conditions

a. The A World UK reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. It is the responsibility of the guests and members to stay informed about any updates.

 

By participating in The A World UK events, purchasing tickets, or becoming a member, you acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions. The A World UK reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
