Meet Our Team
Adam was the founder and investor of The A World UK in October 2019. Adam has over a decade of retail and customer service experience. Adam is responsible for supporting the Autistic Community by raising awareness and acceptance within society. Adam is also responsible for running and expanding our autism friendly activities, holidays and all other Autism benefits.
Brad joined The A World UK in July 2020, after working in the leisure and events industry. Brad has years of experience working operationally and within a Sales and Marketing team, supporting the business with over a £7 million turnover. Within The A World UK, Brad is responsible for the overall running of the business, which includes developing strategic plans, P&L accountability, implementing company policies and managing a team of employees - alongside the other two Managing Directors.
Jamie co-founded The A World UK in October 2019 and is responsible for the continuously, growing retail stores, sales and their operation. Jamie has previously worked in the non-profit sector for many years, working with some of the biggest brands, and has led and developed teams across the UK. Jamie’s attention within the business is to manage the retail team to ensure that their sales are maximised to generate revenue for the Autistic Community.
Retail Area Manager
John joined the business in 2020 as a Community Retail Shop Manager and over the course of Peak Season, John had showed progression and determination towards the business – working alongside our Managing Directors' in developing our retail stores and team ethos. As of 1st January 2022, John was promoted to Retail Area Manager. The Community Retail Shop Managers and Shop Assistants directly report to John.
