Autism Friendly Party

Many children with autism find attending mainstream parties/play centres an overwhelming experience. Our autism/hidden disability-friendly events have been specifically designed to allow both the children and their families to have the best party experience ever. The play centre is closed for our private event to ensure we can keep numbers to a minimum. The purpose of these events is to bring families together allowing them to build relationships and seek support.
Music is turned off at our events, suitable lighting, and a buffet upon arrival.
We attempt to cater for everybody's needs, feel free to let a member of staff know if you need assistance in any way.

Best of all, the event is ALWAYS completely FREE.

Therapeutic Horse Riding

Horse Riding therapy at Foxfields Therapeutic Horse Riding Centre.

Unlike other animals horses are constantly observing a person’s behaviour. They give instant feedback on the individuals behaviour and body language. The benefit of this in therapeutic terms is the ability of the horse to teach an individual to self-regulate their interactions. If a person becomes aggressive/excitable/anxious the horse will react to this instantly. In order to work with the horse and undertake tasks together, an individual must work to successfully communicate with the horse. The skills learnt from communicating with a horse can be applied to everyday human to human interactions.
From our own personal experience, Foxfields is amazing. It is a comfortable, inviting environment where you have fun whilst learning.

We could not recommend Foxfields enough!
