National Diversity Awards 2023

Community Organisation Award for Disability

We are beyond proud to have been nominated for the National Diversity Awards 2023.

Since establishing in 2019, we have been able to support over 8000 individuals including their families through providing a variety of "take-over" events and have provided 326 families with a funded holiday.

Unfortunately, we did not win the National Diversity Award.

Thank you to all that voted.

'Non-profit of the Year'

LadySmith Shopping Centre

We are thankful to the Tameside community and for Ladysmith Shopping Centre for their continued support, but for also recognising The A World UK's hard work and effort put in to supporting the autistic community, in which The A World UK was appointed as their 'Non-profit of the Year' for 2022/2023.

Brad Thorpe

Nominated - Community Project of the Year

Congratulations to one of The A World UK's Managing Directors - Brad for being nominated on behalf of The A World UK for community project of the year!

Unfortunately, Brad did not win this award, but we are extremely proud of him to be recognised by others for his hard work on behalf of The A World UK.

Charlotte Hughes

Nominated - Employee of the Year

The A World UK are extremely proud of Charlotte for being nominated as 'Employee of the Year'.

Charlotte's hard work and dedication is reflected through her community store (Ashton). Charlotte is compassionate with her volunteers and is providing them with confidence and new skills regularly.

Unfortunately, Charlotte did not win this award, but she is still a winner to The A World UK.
